If any appointments are cancelled due to weather, injury or illness the following will apply:
If you are on a yearly grooming schedule of every 6 weeks or less, you will have to wait for your next appointment. If you are not on a yearly schedule, you will be rescheduled at the next available appointment. Please note that will most likely be 4-6 weeks out.
I understand this may seem harsh. I understand you all believe your pet to be the most important pet, and while I agree, I have to consider the mental well being of my staff too. There are many factors that play into our job, one of which is the stress of having to find spots for cancelled appointments. I will not ask my groomers to work over time to do those reschedules. Illness and injuries are not something we can control. When either of those things happens, we have to consider the good of all dogs and people involved.
We work hard at loving and caring for your fur kids as our own, so some grace and patience from everyone in these situations is greatly appreciated. We do not have flexibility in our schedules, so if you need a groomer that does, please feel free to shop around.
This was not an easy policy to make for me, but in light of recent events and reactions from some of our clients and watching my staff stress out to try and make it right, I feel it’s necessary. If you have questions please express them to me, Mary, and I can direct you to management, again me, Mary.
A little side note, it is NEVER okay for anyone to be abusive with my staff. If you have a problem with them, you need to direct it to me. These days it really does no one any good to be rude. Sometimes the customer isn’t right, unless they have four furry paws.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience.
